My first duty is to my students. I currently teach Physics
206, an interactive learning course designed with the
biological sciences student in mind. The work here has
greatly increased my appreciation for physics education
research and novel teaching pedagogy. I am also supervising
independent study projects for junior and senior level
physics majors.
My research interests are in the areas of resistive random
access memories, nanoscience, and materials physics.
Last but not least, I am the faculty advisor for the CSUSM
Chapter of the Society of Physics Students.
